Enhancements and Updates

1. Revenue by Crew Report

The current employee revenue report has been updated to have the option to report by crew. A new 'Type' filter has been added. The default is to run the report by employee which will mimic the original report. If the 'Type' is set to Crew, the revenue, quantity, material cost, and labor cost will reflect crew rather than individual.

2.  Commission Reconciliation Report

Commission Reconciliation occurs when individual work orders are closed out to ensure the total job pays out the correct commission.  For example, if your company uses different gross profit tiers to calculate the commission rate, one of the work orders may carry more costs and another work order.  When processing is completed, JobPro calculates the commission owed for all the work orders connected to the job that have been closed out.  JobPro will then create a commission adjustment, if needed, to the work order to ensure the total job's commission is correct.  This process can be difficult to follow so the JobPro team has created a report to help.

The Commission Reconciliation Report can be found on the job information tab on the job page.  The report will display all the work orders connect to the job that have been closed (processing completed) in the order they were closed.  From this report, JobPro admins can see the running totals, commissions, and adjustments made.

This report can only be run after processing has been completed.

3.  Hiding Estimated Installation Units on the Tech App

A permission has been added to allow admin users to choose whether their installers will be able to see the estimated installed units through the tech app. This update is intended to prevent tech app users from simply entering the expected number of installed units rather than the actual units installed. By default, tech users will have the estimated installed units displayed. To turn this permission on for your tech users, contact your JobPro Support Team today!

4.  Estimated Overtime Pay

An Estimated Overtime Pay button has been added to the profitability tab on the job page.  By clicking this button, the user can see what the current overtime amounts are for the current pay period.  This information can be used to forecast overtime labor that will be added to the job in the future.  The overtime amounts are applied to the job when the payroll period is closed, if your company is set up to distribute overtime to the jobs.  A payroll period must be created that included today's date for the overtime information to display.
